Post: Sanitation & Waste Management Officer
Qualification : B.Tech (Environment Engineering)/M.Sc/B.Sc(Environmental Sciences)
Experience : 3-5 years

Job profile
  • Study and analyze the local sanitation and waste management situation
  • Help devise and implement cost effective and participatory, waste management /treatment solutions that are eco friendly and sustainable.
  • Build awareness, motivate the communities to own and participate in the management of waste
  • Dialogue, lobby with the Industries, Municipal bodies and Pollution Control agency for proactive at-source treatment of effluents and scientific and environ-friendly discharge of treated waste/effluent.
  • Promoting community initiatives in low cost waste disposal and management
  • Do process and outcome documentation for in-house and reporting to other stakeholders

Skill Set: - Project planning, monitoring and evaluation; Public Relations and Management; Budgetary Understanding; communications with written skills in Kannada and English

Salary : Rs. 13,000 – Rs.15,000/-
